Dennis and Terry Darryl’s TWIN LAKES FARM – a name synonymous with breeding great halter horses. The Darryls have owned halter horses for forty years. They are committed and strive for Excellence in the Breed. Towards that goal, they have bred, raised, shown and sold numerous AQHA World Champions, Congress Winners, Superior Halter Horses, and Futurity Money Earners. Year after year, The American Quarter Horse Association has named Dennis and Terry Darryl on the Leading Breeder’s List of Halter Horses and Halter Register of Merit Horses. All this has been accomplished from an average of seven foals per year!
Twin Lakes Farm is managed by Steve Ferguson, an AQHA Leading Exhibitor. Steve has been involved with show horses for thirty years. His record includes more than 50 AQHA World and Reserve World Champions and multiple All-American Quarter Horse Congress halter winners. He has also competed successfully in Western Pleasure and NCHA Cutting events. Steve is respected and well-known for his keen eye and ability to choose World Class horses. Along with his training skills and knowledge, he is an AQHA and WCHA judge.
Twin Lakes Farm is situated on 75 acres of lush, rolling pastures deep in the heart of East Texas. The barns are nestled among the tall pines that lie close to the two lakes.
